Game workers - Tell us about your experience with AI

CODE-CWA

We are writing to invite you to take a short survey on your experience with artificial intelligence (AI) in game development.

Take the survey here!

The survey should take around 15 minutes to complete.

AI is being used more often in games across a range of roles and jobs and has been an important topic in our contract negotiations. Understanding how you use (or why you don’t use) these technologies will help CWA bargain more effectively and advocate for better policies that protect jobs, improve job quality, and give game workers more say in how they design and produce games.

CWA’s Research Department is partnering with researchers at Cornell University to carry out this study. The research team will share the results with your CWA representatives and shop stewards. They will also organize workshops in summer 2026 to discuss findings and help strategize how to use these findings in campaigns and bargaining.

Your individual responses are completely confidential and will not be shared with your employer or with CWA. There is no compensation associated with participating.

Questions can be directed to Professor Virginia Doellgast at [email protected] or at 607-255-5381.

Thank you so much for taking the time to complete this survey!

In Solidarity,

The CWA Research Department
