Arbitrationdecision for the COVID-19 Quarantine Pay (Verizon Members)

Brothers and Sisters,
We have finally received the decision for the COVID-19 Quarantine Pay arbitration that was heard on April 9th, 2024. The ruling states that the company violated Article 33, Section 1(a), when it required employees to quarantine due to COVID-19 issues and then failed to pay certain individuals quarantine pay in accord with Article 33, Section 1(a), because those employees declined to become (or remain) fully vaccinated. This arbitration was presented by District 2-13 and Local 2100 and was for all affected members. Any member who was forced to quarantine without pay, use contractual time (ie. vacation, excused paid or non paid, sick) or "A" time between November 1, 2021 to November 1, 2022 please reach out to your steward, District Vice President or the hall.More information will be coming in the following weeks.
